I was invited to do an art workshop with some lovely girls from a summer camp called girls of Destiny. The camp was created by Pat Chacha. She is so passionate about serving the youth in our community; I remember sitting in on a few scholarship training sessions where she encouraged all of us to apply for grants. Coming Of Age

Eyes up at Ryerson
I saw a call-out for artists looking to participate in Ryerson's Tumult Arts Festival. I couldn't resist clicking on that apply button. I submitted my idea for a live arts performance that would capture the spirit of the day, and voila! I was accepted as a showcasing artist. It was such a sunny bright day, so I scouted out a spot underneath some trees so I could paint under the cool shade. Here's a close up of the painting in progress.
